MEDIACO was created in 1942 by Jean-Jacques VERNAZZA in the « acconage » and shipping field.

Christian Jacques Vernazza has developed the lifting activity in Marseille. The first acquisition was a telescopic crane 80 tons called Grove.

MEDIACO from its start has always wanted to invest in the most modern and impressive equipment in order to offer its customers high-quality services.

MEDIACO is NUMBER ONE in France with 70 agencies, 1500 employees and a site with 500 telescopic cranes from 20 to 800 tons : it’s the third lifting company in Europe.

MEDIACO is present abroad (30 agencies) with MEDIACO International set up in Maghreb (MOROCCO, ALGERIA, TUNISIA)

MEDIACO VRAC, specialist in the storage and the transport of liquid products, has 100 000m3 of liquid storage in Marseille, Beziers (Big Oil-works Mediaco, grinding up oil of grapes pips), Vitrolles, Imperia, Gênes and Casablanca.

MEDIACOVER, first European company which controls the confining technique of large volume under « films thermo-rétractables soudés ». Moreover, it asserts a cleanliness of the surrounding atmosphere and automatically recycles all structure and covering materials.

MEDIAC'UP, subsidiary of the group and specialist in the raising of persons, owns a site with nacelles from 8 to 70m.
A partnership (GIE) with the group LOXAM, number one in industrial rental, has enabled the purchase of the first nacelle Domag 70m. The aim being to offer to our customers a whole choice of industrial services going from the compressor, bungalow, to the crane from 20 to 800 tons and also the nacelle from 8 to 70m.
